ADC12= Aluminum-Alloy Die Castings 12#

ADC12 aluminum alloy, also known as No. 12 aluminum material, Al-Si-Cu series alloy, is a commonly used grade for aluminum alloy die castings and is widely used in the customization of various aluminum alloy die castings.

1.    ADC12 aluminum alloy material chemical composition:

copper (Cu) 1.5 ~ 3.5, silicon (Si) 9.6 ~ 12.0, magnesium (Mg) ≤ 0.3, zinc (Zn) ≤ 1.0, iron (Fe) ≤ 1.3, manganese (Mn) )≤0.5, nickel (Ni)≤0.5, tin (Sn)≤0.2, calcium (Ca) ≤200ppm, lead (Pb) ≤0.1, cadmium (Cd) ≤0.005, aluminum (Al) remaining.

2.    ADC12 has good die-casting formability and is suitable for thin castings. Its specific characteristics are: thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, good cutting performance, suitable for all kinds of machining. The shrinkage is low, so it has good filling performance. The density is low, the strength is high, and the finished product is light in weight. It can maintain good mechanical properties in high or low temperature environments. It has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.

Because aluminum alloy die-casting contains many impurities, many surface treatments currently have some limitations. Surface treatments such as oxidation and electroplating are relatively unsuitable for ADC12 aluminum alloy die-casting.
